How to Keep Your Car Clean After Muddy Dog Park Trips
The dog park is great. The drive home with four muddy paws on the back seat is less great. A small car kit solves most of it.
Build a car kit
- A water bottle (about 16 oz is enough for four paws)
- A Paw Cup that lives in the trunk
- A Pocket Towel for drying
- A waterproof seat cover or old blanket
- A bag for the wet towel on the way home
Before your dog jumps in
- Pour water into the cup.
- Clean each paw with a few twists.
- Dry paws, legs and belly with the towel.
- Load up, then bag the towel.
At home
Empty and rinse the cup, and let it dry upside down before it goes back in the car. Wash the towel with other towels, without fabric softener.
